I chose to play Pull Me Under because it is one of my favorite songs by Dream Theater, also off of my favorite album. This song especially shows off the band’s diverse sound and true virtuosity. As a guitarist I can say it is incredibly satisfying to play. The musicality is amazing. It highlights their spectacular and creative use of odd meters, yet it flows perfectly as if it were your standard 4/4 song.
